Welcome to May’s newsletter.
This week is Mental Health Awareness Week (18th-24th May 2020) and this year’s theme is “Kindness”.
So, we thought we start this newsletter by saying thank you for your continued support. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful clients who have stuck with us, despite the difficult times we are all currently facing.
With businesses all looking towards a familiar sense of normality, we’ve been inundated with requests. If we haven’t got back to you already, please don’t worry we will get back to you as soon as possible.
We’re looking forward to getting back to our office and seeing you all soon but in the meantime, why not take a look at what we have been up to.
Blogging about Kindness
Ever wondered where the expressions “it’s all business” and “business is business” come from? They come from the idea that in business, being successful means acting purely in the interest of profit and that the decisions you make as a business professional should be completely separate from emotions and personal issues. The trouble with that logic is that it doesn’t take into consideration the effect our actions may have on others and sadly, those expressions are all too commonly used as excuses for the damage caused by those taking those actions.
We don’t believe that being successful in business has to mean hiding the good person that you are. As kindness is this year’s theme for Mental Health Awareness Week (18th-24th May 2020), we wanted to show the massive return to be had from investing in mental health by adopting little acts of kindness throughout your working day that could see you and those working around you, reaping the benefits.
Featured work: Save Energy 2 Day Re-brand
As with all Brands, how they are perceived over time can change and they can become outdated and misrepresent your companies values and identity.
In this case, we were tasked with making the leaf more realistic and making the globe more identifiable. As part of the process, we analysed each requirement and began a design process which involved creating variations of the elements, listening and discussing client feedback, until we arrived at the new brand design you see below.
The client was extremely happy with the re-brand and couldn’t wait to use it on their brand new website, which you can explore here.

Forest update
It’s already been a month since we went carbon-neutral! Since then we’ve added another 24 trees to our forest.
This has only possible with our amazing kindness from customers like you and your continued support.

Office update
A quick reminder to say that we’re still working from home at the moment and are not expecting to return to the office until June at the earliest.
However, we are continuing to provide support via chat, phone, remote desktop and video calls throughout lockdown.
And on that note, I hope you all staying safe and well!
That’s all for now!
