Founded in 2008Back in 2008 I put myself out there by directly contacting a company with a preview of I thought their website should of looked like. At this time we were only offering basic HTML4 + CSS2 websites. I was never certain of what response I would get, but when I got a reply from the manager to have a meeting. I was told they were highly impressed and wanted to go ahead. However they wanted to get quote from a rival local company, which in the end didn't offer the higher standard of service I delivered. For the records, I still host the website today: www.overdalepractice.com I also won an award for being entrepreneurial at the age of 14. | Graphic Services Introduced 2009In 2009, I introduced the service to create just brand logo designs while combining it with my website design service which was now advancing into dynamic design in PHP. I was very adaptable to work along side other people as I shared my creativity skills in website and graphic design along side a people who were very good at the dynamic side. I was able to pick up skills along the way. |
Awards for Graphic Branding 2010During 2010 I won several separate awards and contracts for our high quality and creative brand logo's we had designed. Many of them still stand today including George Spencer Academy, which awarded me with their 50th Anniversary Award before I left at the age of 16. This year was also the first year I made the company live on the world wide web. | Growing Recommendation 2011During 2011, I saw growth in recommendations from my previous work which encouraged me to develop my skills even further towards PHP and MySQL. This bought the launch towards my first "cloud" service, a control panel to allow clients to edit their websites, which was before the whole "cloud" terminology came in. |
Partnerships & SWA Cloud 2012In 2012, my growing skills at the age of 18 allowed me to gain interest by other entrepreneurs who ranged in age of 18-30, to work on larger scale projects and businesses in return for a share in the business. This also bought skills like AJAX and more secure and fluid websites. This was where the SWA Cloud was born. A fluid control panel which allows my websites today to have fluidity, clean, modern and usability from both user and client end. | First Full Year & Sponsorships 20132013 is our first full year without no education running along side the business so we have a lot more dedicated time to innovate and grow. It may only be the beginning of 2013 but we're already making our making our mark in our market by been Highly Rated by ThomsonLocal.com and Sponsoring two charitable events. We may only be a small company, but we believe in making a great impression. |
